KEYSTONE IS SET TO OPEN ON NOVEMBER 6, 2009!

3 MOUNTAINS, 5 BOWLS, ACRES OF FUN!
Keystone is home to three magnificent mountain playgrounds:

DERCUM MOUNTAIN - 11,640 feet and offers a variety of green beginner runs, blue intermediate runs, A51 Terrain Park, Night Skiing, and tubing at Adventure Park. 

NORTH PEAK - 11,660 feet and offers a variety of blue intermediate and black expert runs. 

THE OUTBACK  - 11,980 feet and offers a variety of blue intermediate and black expert runs with some of the states' best tree skiing.

OVERALL:  The Second Largest Ski Resort in Colorado!

Most of the following activities are available from early November to mid April:

NIGHT SKIING - Keystone has the largest night operations in Colorado.  Watch the sun set over the Rocky Mountains while getting in a few more runs. 

A51 TERRAIN PARK - For all you snowboarding lovers!  A51 features its own lift, over 100 features, a super pipe and three jump lines.  Located on Dercum Mountain.

FLY FISHING - Keystone offers you year-round guided trips.

ICE SKATING AND HOCKEY - Located in the heart of Lakeside Village, Keystone has the largest 5 acre Zamboni-maintained outdoor skating rink in North America.

MOUNTAIN TOP SCENIC SNOWCAT TOURS - Take a snowcat ride through the back mountains of Keystone Resort!

NORDIC CENTER - Offers more than 9 miles of groomed trails and provides access to more than 35 miles of nearby packed trails through the White River National Forest.

SCENIC GONDOLA RIDES - Keystone is the only Colorado ski resort with two high-speed gondolas

SLEIGH RIDES - Pulled by 2,000-pound draft horses, these sleighs will whisk you through the Soda Creek Valley on an enchanting one-hour tour.  Also enjoy the memorable Dinner Sleigh Ride.

SLOPECYCLE/SNOWBIKING - This new and exciting sport is a the top of Dercum Mountain at the Adventure Park.

SNOWMOBILING - Exciting guided tours through the National Forest.

TUBING HILL - Just like when you were a kid, only on a much bigger hill with its own tubing lift.  Enjoy this during the day or under the lights.

CAT SKIING & RIDING - In the comfort of a heated snowcat, you'll travel above the tree line to 12,000 feet for a view of Keystone like you've never seen.  Keystone's expert terrain for all you powder lovers!

ACTIVITIES FOR THE 2009-2010 SKI SEASON!

DECEMBER 12 - 13, 2009 - BETTY FEST:
Betty Fest brings together women for two days of skiing and riding in a fun, non-intimidating environment.  This program includes extensive on-hill training on Keystone's Ski and Ride School's trails, video analysis and discussions about nutrition, women's specific concerns and equipment.

DECEMBER 12, 2009 - K2 PINK CHASE:
Kick off the 2009-2010 ski season with a unique global fundraiser uniting the women's ski and snowboard community, raising money for breast cancer research organizations worldwide.

DECEMBER 21 - 27, 2009 - KEYSTONE KIDTOPIA:
Keystone KIDTOPIA --- Bring your kids to a festival designed just for them.  Explore the ultimate Snow Fort at the top of Dercum Mountain, dance to live music in the plaza, make arts and crafts, go Disco Tubing and join the continuing education activities that fill this weekend on and off the slopes.

DECEMBER 30, 2009 - FULL MOON SNOWSHOE TOUR:
Enjoy a vigorous hike in the moonlight while listening to the sounds of Mother Nature.  A light soup dinner is served after.

DECEMBER 31, 2009 - NEW YEAR'S CELEBRATION:
Ring in the New Year at Keystone!
6PM - 10PM
- Fireworks in Lakeside Village
830PM - Torchlight Parade in River Run
530PM - 10PM - Ice Skating Party at Keystone Adventure Center
630PM - 8PM - Family Dinner Buffet at the Edgewater Cafe, Keystone Lodge & Spa.  Dinner includes a free skate rental.
8PM - 10PM - Murder Mystery Dinner, Keystone Lodge & Spa Ballroom: $125.00 per person.

JANUARY 1 - 3, 2010 - BURTON SUPER DEMO TOUR:
The Burton Super Demo is an interactive and entertaining experience for the guests of Keystone Resort.  Guests can sample and experience an array of products.

JANUARY 9, 23, 30, 2010 - RIVER RUN FUN:
Come out and enjoy the street entertainers in River Run Village.  Each Saturday we'll have a different entertainer, so make sure to check them all.

JANUARY 14 - 19, 2010 - KEYSTONE KIDTOPIA:

JANUARY 22 - 24, 2010 - GATORADE FREE FLOW TOUR:
Showcases the top amateur winter athletes competing in snowboarding and freeskiing, both slopestyle and superpipe.  Snowboarding disciplines will have separate competitions for men and women, while the freeski contests will be open to both.

Experience Keystone's award-winning cuisine at this resort-wide culinary festival.  Savor the flavors at the Grand Tasting event, sip red wines from around the world or indulge your palate with a chocolate class lead by our award winning executive pastry chef.

APRIL 10, 2010 - VOLCOLM PEANUT BUTTER AND RAIL JAM:
The Peanut Butter and Rail Jam is Volcom's free amateur snowboard contest series dedicated to giving something back to the kids.   The event is absolutely free, on a first-come first-serve basis and boasts tons of free prizes and PB&J sandwiches!  Also, everyone who enters walks away with a Volcom PBRJ shirt plus other goodies.
